ok so for work, i’m one of the interpreters for a taiwanese HS group visiting a yamanashi HS for their school trip. at the end, when the taiwanese kids are giving gifts to the japanese kids, the hottest taiwanese guy gives the hottest japanese guy a gift and they hug each other and all of the sudden the girls, both japanese and taiwanese, immediately bond and form a HUGE circle around the two boys and start SCREAMING and taking pictures and basically going crazy… NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE 国際交流!! LOLOLOL

also today was uber stressful because i had to be the interpreter for a big event from eng-jpn and THEN jpn-chinese for the taiwanese school trip event. but also! so for the first event when i had to translate eng-jpn, a girl from the states just went up to me and said to me, “you’re really beautiful!” 

it was really flattering because first, usually people say, “wow, your english is so good!” when they first hear me speak english cus they always assume i’m japanese and second, the girl said it so sweetly and sincerely and it was just so nice to hear… it reminded me that i need to tell people more how beautiful i think they are…

i think, especially for girls maybe, that we’re really critical of our own body and looks and of other girls’ bodies and looks. it’s so nice not to hear negativity or criticism but instead to hear this positive and sweet comment. :)

LET’S LOVE NOT HATE!!! :D 

AND LET’S “INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATE” THE INTERNATIONAL BOYS LOVE WAY! lolololol
